China's $700M Investment to Boost Solar Glass Manufacturing in Egypt

• In a significant move for the renewable energy sector, China's Xinyi Glass has announced a $700 million investment to establish a solar panel glass manufacturing facility in Egypt's Suez Canal Economic Zone. This ambitious project, set to be executed in two phases, aims to produce 1.5 million tons of solar panel glass annually, along with 1.1 million tons of high-purity silica sand, a critical raw material for solar energy production. 🌞
